Today I had my first ~proper therapy~ session with my therapist. I think it went well. She told me to quit with the “but it wasn’t THAT bad” and to do nice things for myself and approved of fanfiction as a coping mechanism. Good signs all, methinks.

Tomorrow i’m going to Amsterdam Pride which will probably be insane and also the US embassy felt the need to tell me that seeing as Islamic terrorists hate gay people there is a chance something terrible will happen.

No shit, US Embassy, I am aware of the problem, but the BE AFRAID schtick is not very interesting.

lol yes she was very... understanding? and acknowledged that it was legit hard work to ~deal with stuff. She asked me to keep notes about what i felt and why between now and next week, and when I was like UGH FEELINGS WHY she was like "think of it as research. More data."

So that's good.

I told her about the Lyme goes on Ikeaventures thing and she thought it was great, also.
